I was born in Daegu, South Korea and immigrated to the United States at age seven. I attended elementary, middle, and high schools in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando, and then moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida. After graduating law school from UF, I worked as a prosecutor at the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida for roughly five years and as in-house counsel for a local private equity group before opening up my own law firm. On my down time I enjoy spending time with my family and screaming (with love) at my hometown team, the Orlando Magic.

Landlord/Tenant

  • Uncontested Eviction
    $450.00
    For owners or managers with more than 100 units under management. Includes filing fee and service of process fee, but does not include the fee required to serve a writ of possession.
  • Uncontested Eviction
    $500.00
    For owners or managers with 31 to 100 units under management. Includes filing fee and service of process fee, but does not include the fee required to serve a writ of possession.
  • Uncontested Eviction
    $600.00
    For owners or managers with 1 to 30 units under management. Includes filing fee and service of process fee, but does not include the fee required to serve a writ of possession.

Criminal Defense

  • Misdemeanor Traffic Charge Defense
    $600.00
    Excludes DUIs. For charges such as reckless driving, driving while license suspended, no valid driver’s license, and no valid motor vehicle registration. There will be an additional fee of $500.00 if the case goes to trial.
  • Misdemeanor Drug Charge Defense
    $750.00
    There will be an additional fee of $1,000.00 if the case goes to trial.
  • Misdemeanor DUI Defense
    $1,000.00
    Additional fee of $1,000.00 if the case goes to trial.
  • Criminal History Expungement / Sealing
    $650.00
    Fee includes FDLE ($75.00) and court filing fees (approx. $60.00). Does not include fingerprinting fees which you pay directly to the law enforcement agency when you get your fingerprints taken.

Immigration

  • Green Card through Job
    $500.00
    I-485 only. Employer must take care of the I-140 and Labor Certification (if any). The fee is per I-485 filed. The fee does not include USCIS or third-party fees.
  • Green Card through Family
    $1,200.00
    I-130 + I-485. The fee is per I-130 (no matter how many beneficiaries) and does not include any USCIS filing fees.
  • Self-Petitions for Green Card
    $2,500.00
    I-140 and I-485. The fee is per I-140, regardless of how many beneficiaries there are. This category is for self-petitioned cases such as through the National Interest Waiver and Extraordinary Abilities employment category. The fee does not include any USCIS or third-party fees.
